Popular Kasese-based singer Heli Baibe will celebrate seven years in the music industry with a special concert at Rwenzori Square in Kasese Municipality on 25 April 2026. The event is being billed not only as a milestone for Heli’s career but also as an inspiration for female artists across Kasese to begin organizing larger, homegrown shows to showcase and uplift local talent.
Speaking to this publication, Heli Baibe described the concert as deeply significant both for her as an artist and for the girl child.
Heli urged fellow musicians to maintain unity and harmony within the local industry, arguing that collaboration and mutual support are key to long-term prosperity.
Trouble Maker, an artist from Bundibugyo who has worked with several regional acts, also spoke about the importance of collaboration between artists from neighbouring districts. He commended Heli’s initiative and encouraged more cross-district projects, saying such partnerships strengthen the creative community and open new opportunities for all involved.
Organisers expect the concert to draw music lovers from across the Rwenzori region and hope the event will set a precedent for more female-led productions in Kasese.
